Self reflection painting ( Final )

This is my self representation painting by using water color. Why I use water color?
The first reason to use watercolor is this: it's cheaper! Watercolor is the fastest
medium to work with. Furthermore, watercolor can convey a mood and feel. It provides
effects that oils, and perhaps acrylic cannot. Last but not least, watercolor is a
medium usually does not go out of style and it is more freely.

As you can see on my painting, there is a portrait looking left and smiling. However,
I did not fully paint to make it more artistic. The idea that I want to convey is this: I always smile and pretend
to be happy, but actually I'm very upset, confusing and emotional. The water dropping represent that I am actually crying. The tears are not drop from my eyes because I never let the others see me cry, pretending to be strong.

The color that I mostly use is blue, which represent that I have a deep need of peace and harmony in my daily life, I need to have direction and I am quite emotional and aware of other feelings. Beside that,
I also use some indigo for my painting, which represent that I need structure in my life
and I'm hungry for the meaning of life, I always do, asking why am I alive, why is the meaning of doing everything if at last you will loose all of it? Last but not least, I use white color in my
painting because I always tend to give an impression of perfection to the others but actually
what I have done is not perfect.
