Task 1: Value

Digital Illustration is to produce an image by using digital tools, usually through a pointing device such as mouse or tablet ( WACOM ). This time I learn to illustrate basic form of shape by using Adobe Photoshop. I use brush tool to paint it and create tone or gradient.

1)To paint a basic form, you need to pick the colors ( a color from its darkest to the lightest ) and draw a basic form like cylinder, fill it with the base color.

 2) Then, decide where is the light come from, use soft round brush, lower down the opacity, and paint the dark area with  a darker color, overlay it with different brightness of the color to create the value.

 3) Lastly, add the highlight with the brightest color at the brightest area.
