The Moving Line - Sol Lewitt

Born September 9, 1928 Hartford , Connecticut Died April 8, 2007 (aged 78) New York , New York Nationality American Field Painting , Drawing & Sculpture Training Syracuse University , School of Visual Arts Movement Conceptual Art & Minimalism His Artwork : My perception about his artwork: It is cool!! He is using the basic - LINE to create an illusion of movement. Beside, by adding the color, his work become more attractive. Use his design to decorate a house or restaurant will be a good idea. ^ ^

Task 1: Simple Block Animation

After the introduction of some basic of 2d animation, we received our first task, which is to make a simple block animation. The type of animation that we make is motion graphic, which can be done by using the Adobe After Effect. Adobe After Effect is a great software for digital visual effect, motion graphic and compositing. Beside that, this software is also work closely with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier and even Cinema 4D. The image below shows the interface of this software:- 1) the Project Tab, 2) the Composition Tab, 3) the Timeline, and 4) the Toolbar. Anyway, the pictures below are the screen shot of my work:-

After Effect: Green screen

After Effect is a well known compositing and editing tool, with After Effect we can key out the green screen and replace the background. 1) Make a new composition and bring in the green screen footage. 2) Select the footage and use one of the common keying effect keylight(1.2). 3) From the effect control, choose screen color and use the eyedrop tool to click on the green space of the footage. 4) Then, the green color is gone. To make it more precious, change the view from final result to screen matte. 5) After that, the alpha matte will appear. Black stand for transparent, white stand for opaque and grey stand for half-transparent. 6) To avoid some part of the object is half-transparent, try to adjust the alpha matte to clear white and black. 7) Bring in the background for your footage. 8) Color correction like adjust the brightness and contrast or hue and saturation. 9) May also use some of the powerful plugin like Magic Bullet Looks to enhanc
